Great location, just behind Fort Casper. Close to attractions and close enough to city. They have a policy of No Refunds and they mean it, so pay by the day if you are not sure how long you plan to stay. During our trip this Fall this was the only camp ground we encountered (other than in Jasper National Park) where they were full. Definitely would stay here again.
Stayed here for one night just passing through and had the worst night's sleep. Trains and traffic were a real problem. Rest rooms were clean. It was about 32 degrees and water was turned off by park and not back on when we were ready to leave at 8:00 AM, which was inconvenient.
This park was very well kept and located just outside entrance to Glacier National Park. Wi-Fi was not available at the sites, but worked fairly well at the office. Did have ethernet connections in the office. Cafe was all others have said about it: good food and plenty of it, at a fair price.
Great location just north of Helena. Stayed here "off season" yet they seemed to be quite busy. Not much for kids, but the only ones we have are the four legged kind and there was a nice dog walk area. Would definitely stay here again.
It is a great location before going into the National Parks. We had a site on the stream and it was so peaceful. We would definitely recommend this park.
